Medical Outreach

In 2024, Twende held a 3-day medical camp, seeing over 850 patients and partnering with the local government to provide cervical cancer screening. Twende students and graduates were central to planning the event and followed up with complex medical cases and those who accepted Christ, connecting them to the new fellowship of Life Center Church. In 2025, Twende held a second medical camp, serving over 500 patients.

Flavia’s story shows how the gospel is transforming lives through the medical camp. Flavia first came to the June 2024 camp as a patient. She accepted Christ and joined Life Center Church. Today, she serves as the church treasurer and volunteered at the 2025 camp by praying for and counseling patients. During the camp, she shared that through the teaching of God’s Word and discipleship at the church, she had grown in prayer and faith, and for the first time had the opportunity to lead others to Christ. Over the course of the week, she prayed with and led 8 people to Christ.

Our next medical camp is scheduled for July 15–17, 2026, as we continue expanding access to healthcare, discipleship, and community outreach in western Uganda.
