Growing Leaders Who Serve
Leadership at Twende is about more than titles — it’s about character shaped through service. We equip young people to mentor others, take initiative in their communities, and become agents of change, multiplying the impact of the relationships and support they have received.
Spiritual Formation
Spiritual formation is central to leadership development at Twende. In 2024, we launched Life Center Church as a Christ-centered community where young people grow in faith, participate in the body of Christ, and live out the Gospel in Mbarara, Uganda.
Medical Outreach
Medical outreach is a practical expression of our conviction to serve. In 2024 and 2025, Twende hosted multi-day medical camps serving hundreds of patients. Young people walking with Twende helped plan the outreaches, follow up on complex medical cases, and support individuals beyond the initial point of care. Building on this work, Twende is pursuing the development of a permanent medical center to provide ongoing, compassionate, and high-quality healthcare.
