Twende... Let Us Go
Since 2013, Twende has been equipping at-risk adolescents and young adults with marketable skills necessary to thrive in a fast-paced economy. We walk with our students and together overcome the vicious cycle of poverty. Through rehabilitation, counseling, and education, multiple students have graduated from a variety of training institutes and more are actively enrolled in their respective academic programs. Our graduates are actively engaged in community transformation.
Having a physical address launches us into the community and helps us stay connected. With an office space, we can meet and dream with our students to become pioneers in their communities. The next phase is to construct office space and a multipurpose auditorium. These structures gives us opportunity to organize student camps, indoor games/tournaments, basic skills training, community outreach programs, spiritual formation and discipleship among others. In the future we plan to purchase 50 acres of land for a Twende vocational school.
