In 2024, Twende launched Life Center Church as a place for our students to participate in the body of Christ and to spread the Gospel in Mbarara Uganda.

The Heart
A key ingredient to leadership development is spiritual formation. Through discipleship, mentorship, and service, we desire to see young leaders rooted in Christ and equipped to serve their communities with integrity, compassion, and faith.

Service and Spiritual growth
Life Center Church is located in Kimuhuro outside the city of Mbarara and is led by a team that includes Twende graduates: Pastor Shone (resident pastor), Christine Nahabwe (church administrator), Ibraham Ekyoshabire (preaching team).
The church continues to grow as a locally led and increasingly self-sustaining ministry. Members are making physical improvements to the church building, PA system and instruments, supporting ministry activities, and developing new areas of outreach and discipleship. Current ministries include a married couples ministry, youth conferences, home visits and hosting the annual medical camps. Life Center Church demonstrates local ownership and leadership.

Full Sprouting Radio Program
The Full Sprouting radio program is broadcast every Friday across 8 districts in southwest Uganda, encouraging listeners with the Good News. Most listeners are farmers or cattle keepers in rural areas who may not live near a gospel-centered church.
